I wanted to show the human and vulnerable side of our Lord. He is facing hardship, yet his expression is peaceful. He sits quietly in the desert, clutching his wrist to stay warm as a large moon lights the darkness around him. His clothing is plain, almost mixing in with the colours of the sand. He has a halo that is almost imperceptible and lines his body, again focusing more on his humanity rather than his divine attributes.
